Aruba Networking CX 6300M 24-port HPE Smart Rate 1/2.5/5GbE Class 6 PoE and 4-port SFP56 Switch

The Aruba JL660A is a campus access switch that offers 24 Smart Rate ports. Each port operates from 100 Mb to 5 Gb, so it connects older equipment as well as new Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E access points without the need for fresh cabling.

Every access port also delivers Class 6 PoE up to 60 watts, and a total budget of 1440 watts supplies power for a full closet of devices. The single appliance can run wireless access points, security cameras, LED lighting, and interactive displays directly from the switch.

Four SFP56 uplink ports move traffic to the core at up to 50 gigabits per second. When growth requires more density you can stack as many as ten CX 6300M units and manage them as one switch. The aggregate design supports 640 gigabits per second of switching capacity and 476 million packets per second of throughput.

Inside the switch there is a processor with four ARM Cortex A72 cores and 8 gigabytes of DDR4 memory. This platform handles routing, segmentation, and automation services without slowing down. Management can come from Aruba Central in the cloud, an on-premises AirWave server, a browser, or a familiar command line.

The one rack unit chassis installs in a standard rack and uses airflow that moves from the front toward the back, matching hot aisle and cold aisle layouts. A warranty that lasts for the life of the product protects the investment.
